Q: Will I have a roommate if I book a room in UM Guest House?

A: No. We will not arrange a roommate for you.


Q: May I share my room in UM Guest House with my colleague, friend, or supervisor?

A: You can arrange a roommate yourself. But roommates must also be students. Please send your student ID and your room sharer’s student ID (if applicable) to ijcai2023macao@gmail.com.


Q: May I book a room online and finish the payment when I arrive in Macau?

A: Due to the limitation of the number of rooms, we won't reserve any room for unpaid orders. We highly recommend that please pay your order as soon as possible.

Q: What documents are necessary for check-in?

A: Sheraton Grand Macao: You need to provide your valid identity document and entry permit. Please carefully keep the entry permit (shown below) obtained when you enter Macao. And it is necessary to pay the deposit by credit card.

UM Guest House: You need to provide your valid identity document and entry permit. Please carefully keep the entry permit (shown below) obtained when you enter Macao. It is unnecessary to pay the deposit.





Q: What should I do if I want to cancel my reservation?

A: Sheraton Grand Macao: You can cancel your reservation before the 25th of July 2023. While the first-night hotel fee in your booking order will be deducted as a procedure fee. Any cancellation after the 25th of July 2023 will be rejected.

UM Guest House: Any cancelation, refund, or room transfer requirement will not be permitted once you settle your payment.
